The view from our Delhi hotel - now off to Airport to fly to Jaipur for 2 days and see what awaits us there!

Thursday 22nd November

As promised, an update on today's adventures. Train from Ramnagar to Delhi was a cheap ticket until we discovered that it included a free screaming child for 5 hours. On top of that we found out our packed lunch was actually 4 hard boiled eggs and 2 bananas with salt and pepper wrapped in tin foil - mmmm yummy!

Arrived Old Delhi Station, which is complete madness with people and monkeys pushing and shoving everywhere (which is the norm), but we were picked up and taken to our hotel - not before having an encounter with a pile of hessian sacks from a bike which ended up on the bonnet of our car!

We arrived at LaLiT hotel and have managed to sample the cocktail menu with great success.  Dinner is on the way and tomorrow we fly to Jaipur for 2 days so more to come from there.

Arrived Delhi

Yippee - arrived at a hotel with a real bathroom - no more blog entries until we have enjoyed the facilities - we've had a full day which we'll tell you about later.
