First full day in Brisbane - took the train into centre of Brisbane and took a very enjoyable walk alongside the river before jumping about a "City Cat" catamaran for a ride up and down the river - great way to see the city too. Weather has been perfect at 27C - using sunscreen is November feels a little odd! Went to a place called "Lone pine" which is a Koala sanctuary, although there's plenty of other wildlife there including Kangaroos, Dingos and Tasmanian Devils to name but a few. Tomorrow is all about the Melbourne Cup horse race which we're going to a sports club to watch and possibly partake in a little gambling and drinking - we'll hopefully pick the winner!
